Wild fabrics and spirals

The spirals of life are many, it often seems that we go round and round and come back to “almost the same place”, it is a place very similar to another one from another time, but with an extra touch of Knowledge. When we return to these places, that's when we can observe our patterns, and use our Karma (action) to transmute. Like a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly.

In the 21-day process, in the first week no food is ingested, so all that energy from the intestine – previously intended for the digestion process – moves to the heart and head. Well, that was the feeling I experienced. Despite feeling that even my lungs were compressed and my breath flow was taking care of much less air, I felt more easily the subtle flows of my body. I entered a state of meditation much more easily, I could feel the vibrations from all sides coming, going, going in, flowing.

In the third week, when I started with the banana juice diluted to 40%, my mental ego received the dose of joy it needed to start chattering again. I got scared with so much talk (in thought, because the retire is in silence). And it was soon, in the moments when I tried to meditate, that I went back in time and felt myself in the first meditation I had done, where I was shaking from fighting my thoughts so much. After all, I discovered that meditating was not about not thinking, but about having control over mental activities. This time I didn't shiver or struggle with my thoughts. It's hard to explain what led me to this time travel, I believe it was the sensations. I was happy to see that the spiral was the same, but in a different place, it seemed a place with a little more light, more serenity, to see thoughts like a river, like musical notes. Not fighting any, just watching them and making the interval between notes more intense and silent.

Recently, when starting to assemble the first experience of bioconstruction of space, I experienced another spiral, where a few years ago, I participated, with great love, in a bioconstruction workshop at Casa do Protector in Marcahuasi-Peru. There, I met a very peculiar group, who called themselves “Wild ones” (Salvajes in Spanish).

The Salvajes were a group of many humans, dolphins, gorillas, monkeys, moths, trees and lights that I had the honor of meeting. In its first formation, this group was formed by Mauricio Arnillas, my eternal master in bioconstruction. His way of talking about bioconstruction was charged with such enthusiasm that his eyes literally lit up. Every class with him filled me with energy, with conviction. That was it! He was convinced that bioconstruction was a path of freedom.

There was also Gabriel, a very discreet being, with a peaceful look in his eyes, his mind racing. Always carry a book (a giant book) wherever you go. Diego, (!!!!!) weaver by essence, the deep crescent moon look. Listening to him speak calms me down and fills my heart with peace. Quevi, who made me laugh every time he said something. Life near Quevi is a lot of fun.

Lauren, a serene and steady woman. It carried a sweetness and at the same time a very impressive sustaining power/strength/structure. JP, a mystery box. I think it takes years to get to know him or know how to talk about him, where little by little he lets go of his secrets.

This group had a mission: to travel spreading knowledge, supporting the construction of a new land, a new era. They are like small weaving butterflies, they collect pollen from some flowers and leave trails of light wherever they go. These traces form an embroidery, a net. Network of life, of knowledge. That knowledge of our connection to Earth, of remembering where we came from, what we are doing on this planet and where we are going. Obviously I was very excited about being a “salvaje-wild-one” too. Life brought me Maria and so, despite already feeling wild, I took my maternity leave for a while. While I was in my cocoon, I watched this network grow. I even saw Hélene, Gerther, Paul and Brunelle become “Salvajes”.

When starting to structure the entire project here on the Portal, we asked the “Salvaje” group, represented by Diego, for support for the permacultural design. Again, it was a very learning process. Every time I arrived with pre-molded ideas or with a strong wind, Diego would reconstruct ideas and designs with us and, also, just by his way of leading, being and talking, he reminded me that in addition to strong wind, nature has a gentle breeze, it has the morning sun, it has the singing of birds. And everything was possible to be created with patience.

After a while, Diego, like a good and beautiful caterpillar, entered his cocoon to transform himself into an exuberant butterfly. For a while, I felt lost in the face of so many activities to be performed and, mainly, to perform them without having Diego's advice/recommendations. How to structure the space, vegetable gardens, agroforestry, tool house, volunteer management, coexistence agreements, germinated production, cosmetics??

We spent time, me and Kaliah, organizing what we are, our cores, the goals of each core. During this period, I tried to organize all the “intuitive” knowledge I had about permaculture. What I knew about permaculture was much more practical and experienceable than actually something I had systematized and organized into word drawings.

In the same saga of looking for news about the butterfly Diego, something very lucky happened. This group of humans, dolphins, gorillas, monkeys, moths, trees and lights, as they went around collecting pollen of light and carrying it from one side to the other in a luminous fabric, they also had a honey pot. It wasn't a normal honey, it was a very colorful honey, the kind you find at the end of a rainbow: it was the experiences and learnings that they had wherever they went. How was I going to find that jar of honey? I went to the end of the rainbow and found that this honey pot was a website. WOW! By diving a little into this honey pot, I found that it was there all the information I needed and more: compiled and expressed from the heart.

I was magnetized by a publication called Flow. As I read, I was sure again that the coincidences of life are not so coincidences after all. I was reflecting a lot about flowing lately and coming across this text opened up a new perspective on the river of life.

How important is weaving? Everyone must have already experienced in some way or another the natural frequency of resonance of some material. This phenomenon is usually explained by the opera singer capable of breaking glass. Each element has a natural frequency of vibration, when the note of that element is played, that element starts to vibrate. We can see the effect of resonance on a guitar as well. Just play a single string, all the others will vibrate, even a little bit. Weaving strengthens our field of resonance, of making a certain force, a certain energy vibrate.

And there are countless “vibrational modes” that we can enter. An example, we have a water molecule, with an oxygen in the middle and two hydrogen molecules located a little below, as shown in the figure below. Chemists/alchemists decided to classify the molecules of the elements according to their geometry and, curiously, found that each molecular geometry had degrees of freedom of vibration and movement (we can also see this in the figure below). The water molecule can vibrate in various ways, it can rotate, the hydrogen molecules can bounce back and forth in the direction of oxygen, etc. By carrying out experiments with light on these molecules, they found that light reacted differently depending on the type of vibration that the molecule takes.

Weaving strengthens a field of vibration and, in this case, the “Salvaje” vibrate the forces of nature acting on us, and our attempt to (re)learn to live in harmony with Mother Earth. There are so many possible ways to learn and each being has an intrinsic potential: it can be with a book, with music, with a photograph, a smile, a dance, a garden.

Documenting the process is one of the channels – in this now also virtual world – of transmitting knowledge beyond countries, numbers, groups and people.

Who would have thought, that after years, such a source of gold would reach us.

And now, with the project a little further along, I'm back in the spiral of life. That time when I wanted to be “Salvaje”.
