Silent and Fasting Retreat: Self-Knowledge and Purification

By resurrection, we understand the shedding of the old consciousness. But it is not merely a rebirth, a sudden change that completely breaks with the past. In resurrection, there is a certain continuity between the moment when one dies to the old self, the outer and inferior nature, and the moment when one sets out on new foundations. In the experience of resurrection, the movement by which the being is freed from the old is closely related to the emergence of new consciousness and new strength, in such a way that the best that was rejected can unite, in a new creation, with what has just been born.

The Mother

It is said that before a river enters the ocean, it trembles with fear.
Look back at the whole journey: the peaks, the mountains, the long winding path through the forests, through the villages, and see before you an ocean so vast that entering it is nothing more than disappearing forever.
But there's no other way... The river can't go back. No one can go back! Going back is impossible in existence. The river needs to take the risk and enter the ocean.
And it is only when it enters the ocean that the fear disappears, because only then will the river know that it is not about disappearing into the ocean, but about BECOMING the ocean.
On one hand it is disappearance, and on the other hand it is rebirth.
That's who we are.
We can only move forward and take the risk.
Courage!!
Move forward with determination and become the Ocean!
