Financial Statements - 3rd Quarter of 2025

We're a bit behind schedule, aren't we? We should already be working on the 4th quarter report, but this is the best we can manage. Phew!! (swipe left).

Please note that our monthly balance always appears negative because we are currently using the Housing Fund, which we received in the second quarter!

The third quarter of 2025 was marked by the consolidation and intensification of community support actions developed by the Mãe Mirra Portal.

During the months of July, August, and September, we continued the agroecology consulting program focused on the implementation of five agroforestry systems. Under the coordination of environmental manager Julia Vilela, technical diagnostic and planning visits were carried out at the headquarters of the Portal Mãe Mirra Community Support Center, on the farms of Dona Raimunda, Sr. Roque, and Sra. Anelita, as well as at the Dário Ferreira Rural School, all located in the Ramal do Pé de Serra area.

The purpose of the visits was to get to know the properties, map the productive areas, identify soil requirements, understand the interests of the farmers, identify potential challenges and, based on this, develop intervention proposals tailored to each situation.

A key step in this process was the collection and analysis of soil from the productive areas, carried out by the company Alquimia Agrária e Agroambiental. Based on this work, specific technical recommendations were developed for soil correction, fertilization, and agroecological management, contributing to the strengthening of sustainable production on the farms served.

Another important development was the start of community education activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism, and income generation. The Cupulate production and marketing course was led by experienced entrepreneur Josinara Rodrigues, who trained three local producers. In addition, farmer Ingrid conducted a practical workshop on vegetable cultivation at Dona Raimunda's garden, open to producers from the community.

The first environmental education workshops were also held with children from the Dário Ferreira Rural School, covering topics such as nutrition, cooking, and agroecology, promoting environmental awareness and care for the land from an early age.

These actions are part of the project "Caring for bodies and the land, cultivating life: Regeneration, Education and Sustainable Tourism with family farmers in the Cocoa-Growing Territory of Southern Bahia"., (The title got long, didn't it? Internally, we're calling it the "Caring for the Body, the Earth, and Life Project")This project, which is part of the Sociobiodiversity Network and has the support of the Casa Socioambiental Fund, seeks to create a fertile environment where sustainable agricultural practices and the appreciation of ancestral knowledge go hand in hand, strengthening the community's protagonism in its own development process.

Although the project's financial support allows us to expand our activities, it does not cover administrative costs or the maintenance of the space.
