History and Purpose of the Integral Education Center
O Núcleo de Educação Integral do Portal Mãe Mirra foi desenvolvido para proporcionar uma educação e orientação que vai além dos modelos tradicionais. Desde sua criação, focamos na formação integral das crianças e jovens da comunidade, considerando não apenas os aspectos físicos e intelectuais, mas também emocionais, vitais, psíquicos, espirituais e culturais. Nossos programas educativos integram práticas de autoconhecimento, ecologia e preservação cultural, com o objetivo de fortalecer a identidade local.
Activities of the Integral Education Center
Early Childhood Education Workshops
The workshops integrate school support, self-knowledge, and science, addressing topics such as "Caring for the Body, the Earth, and the Planet," and exploring the interrelationships between them.
Partnerships with Rural Schools
We collaborate with local schools, such as Domingos Correia Rural School, to implement curricula that integrate ancestral knowledge into formal education.
Objective of the Integral Education Center
Our vision is to facilitate and support integral development of the children from Ramal do Pé de Serra, Uruçuca, in pursuit of self-knowledgewhile maintaining their connection with their souls. To be a space where education is used to enrich existing faculties and develop new ones, forming individuals who are conscious of their role in the universe, in harmony with their ancestry and in connection with the Earth. This is achieved through an education that values science, art, and play as tools for learning and self-discovery.
