1. Purpose and scope of application<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This Policy establishes the conditions for booking, payment, cancellation, date changes, and participation in retreats promoted by the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portal M\u00e3e Mirra, as well as the minimum agreements for coexistence, care, and safety applicable during your stay at the Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Policy forms part of the booking confirmation and should be read before payment and the start of the experience. Electronic acceptance, signature, or express confirmation of the booking represents knowledge of and agreement with its terms, without prejudice to the inalienable rights guaranteed by applicable law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Summary of financial conditions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Termination due to serious infraction<\/td>No refunds are generated, in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.<\/td><\/tr>
Interruption determined by the Portal without fault of the participant.<\/td>Proportional reimbursement for the days not used, less 20% from the proportional value for administrative purposes, in accordance with applicable legislation.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

3. Booking and confirming your spot<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

3.1.<\/strong> The reservation will be confirmed after payment of 30% of the total retreat cost, unless a specific condition is formally communicated by the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2.<\/strong> Simply expressing interest, filling out the registration form, or submitting documents does not guarantee a place until the reservation is confirmed by the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.3.<\/strong> When a prior assessment of health, safety, or suitability of the activity is required, confirmation may depend on the completion of that assessment, as indicated on the registration form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Payment<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

4.1.<\/strong> The full cost of the retreat must be paid before the start date and time of the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.2.<\/strong> If the balance is not paid in full, participation may not begin, unless express written authorization is provided by the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.3.<\/strong> The price, dates, retreat format, and specific booking conditions will be those stated in the confirmation sent to the participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Right of withdrawal in distance contracts<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

When a contract is subject to the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code, including in legally applicable cases of distance contracting, the exercise of this right will be guaranteed within the legal period, with full reimbursement of the amounts paid. After this period, the cancellation rules set out below will apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Cancellation before the start of the retreat<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

6.1. Cancellation with 30 days or more notice.<\/strong> An amount equivalent to 10% will be retained from the total retreat value to cover administrative and organizational costs. The remaining balance of the amounts actually paid will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.2. Cancellation with less than 30 days' notice.<\/strong> An amount equivalent to 25% will be retained from the total retreat cost to cover administrative expenses, experience organization, and reservation fees. The remaining balance of payments actually made will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.3.<\/strong> The percentages in this section are calculated on the total amount contracted for the retreat, and the refund will not exceed the amounts actually paid by the participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.4.<\/strong> Refunds will be processed within 15 business days after cancellation confirmation, subject to the operational timelines of the financial institution or payment method used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Date changes<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

7.1.<\/strong> Changes to the participation date may be requested without additional charge, provided they are made before the start of the retreat and are subject to availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.2.<\/strong> Payments already made can be transferred to the new confirmed date. Any price difference between options or editions must be agreed upon between the parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.3.<\/strong> The date change is not automatically applied after the retreat has begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Withdrawal, departure, and return during the retreat<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

8.1.<\/strong> Participants are free to end their participation and leave the retreat at any time. The Association will not physically restrict their departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.2.<\/strong> For reasons of safety, organization, gathering, and continuity of the experience, temporary departures from the retreat space and subsequent return must be previously communicated to and authorized by the team, except in emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.3.<\/strong> Voluntary withdrawal after the start of the retreat will be considered a withdrawal from the experience and will not generate a proportional refund for the days not used, except for mandatory legal cases and exceptional situations formally recognized by the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Agreements on participation and coexistence<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

During their stay on the Portal, participants agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Respect the periods and spaces for silence, reflection, self-study, and introspection, as well as the schedules and general guidelines of the staff;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain a respectful attitude towards participants, staff, the community, the spaces, nature, and the Portal's heritage, refraining from violence, intimidation, harassment, discrimination, or behavior that puts other people at risk;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To store or restrict the use of electronic devices when requested by the organization, respecting the specific guidelines of the experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Do not bring in, carry, offer, distribute, or use alcohol, illicit drugs, recreational substances, herbal remedies, or non-prescribed psychoactive substances during the retreat;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inform the healthcare professional in advance about the use of prescribed or ongoing medications and do not interrupt, reduce, or alter prescribed medication without guidance from the responsible healthcare professional;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inform the team of any relevant physical, emotional, or mental changes, including symptoms, discomfort, or incidents during fasting or dietary restrictions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Please accept that, for reasons of care and safety, the team may recommend adjustments to the diet, inclusion of foods, interruption of fasting, or seeking professional evaluation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Follow, according to your health conditions, the guidelines for preparation and gradual return to eating;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To preserve the privacy of others, avoiding photographing, filming, recording, or disclosing participants' personal information without authorization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • To provide truthful and complete information during the registration process and to communicate any relevant changes that occur before the start of the retreat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    10. Substances, medications, and items incompatible with the experience.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    10.1.<\/strong> The entry or use of illicit drugs, recreational substances, alcohol, herbal remedies, or unauthorized psychoactive substances during the retreat constitutes a serious offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10.2.<\/strong> The medicinal use of any prescribed controlled or psychoactive substance must be reported in advance. The Association does not advise the suspension or alteration of medical prescriptions; any compatibility with the chosen modality may be evaluated before confirmation of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10.3.<\/strong> Attempting to conceal substances, medications, or relevant information that could compromise the safety of oneself or others may be considered a serious violation of the agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11. Staff safety, health and guidance<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    11.1.<\/strong> Fasting and dietary restrictions are not goals to be maintained at all costs. The participant's well-being and overall health will take priority over the initially planned duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11.2.<\/strong> The team may request an individual conversation, adaptation of the experience, professional evaluation, or interruption of participation when they identify a situation of significant risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11.3.<\/strong> Participation in the retreat does not replace necessary medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other professional care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11.4.<\/strong> In urgent or emergency situations, the team may activate the emergency contact indicated by the participant and seek external assistance. Personal expenses arising from external assistance will remain the responsibility of the participant, without prejudice to any legal liability of the Association where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    12. Termination due to breach of agreements<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    The Association may terminate participation in cases of serious or repeated violations of the agreements, especially when the conduct compromises the safety, integrity, seclusion, or operation of the retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The following situations, among others, may justify termination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
